This second year festival promises a 2-day event filled with funky blues, boogie-woogie guitar, dazzling horns, lift-your-feet jazz and electrifying, soul-stirring performances by jazz and blues artists from around the world, and will feature a variety of merchant and food vendors for festival-goers to experience.
Headliners this year are Mr. Sipp “The Mississippi Blues Child” and the New Orleans Suspects, along with jazz legends Carmen Bradford with Scotty Barnhart.
Mr. Sipp will bring down the house with his upbeat, soulful blues and his outlandish performance that make him the blues powerhouse that he is. The New Orleans Suspects will be putting their own spin on the music of New Orleans, as they layer boogie-woogie piano, soulful blues guitar and jazzy horns on top of funky bass lines and complex rhythms. Jazz royalty, Carmen Bradford and Scotty Barnhart will offer a classic, rousing “Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald” with Carmen’s vocal prowess and Scotty’s command on the jazz trumpet.
