The Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association (FRLA) Northeast Chapter, in partnership with Visit Jacksonville, is launching a new crime fighting initiative, the Tourism Industry & Public Safety Alliance (TIPSA).

In developing this program, the goal is to be proactive in fighting crime to keep guests and visitors safe. It will create an open line of communication among hotel general managers and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO), lowering calls of service in preventing crimes and creating a crime free community. Once this program has launched, we plan to share it with surrounding counties and add our restaurant community.

To participate in this program, please join us for the TIPSA program launch event. At this event we will have a panel of industry representatives and JSO sharing best practices to keep their guests safe. We will share our new “real time” communication tool with you and get you signed up onsite.
