The FRLA Central Florida Chapter’s purpose is to support hospitality business growth through the provision of government access, educational and staffing platforms, and visibility. We will achieve our purpose by serving and engaging the Central Florida hospitality industry and community and increasing the access hospitality professionals have to the issues and decision makers.
Our Chapter covers Seminole, Orange and Osceola counties with nearly 1,000 hotel, restaurant, and supplier partner members. We take great pride in our services, products, and dedication to this valuable industry and organization. From the most prestigious Theme Parks in the world to Central Florida’s growing reputation as a dining destination, our Chapter has amazing diversity. Our chapter leadership is comprised of over 30 recognized and respected industry professionals who are working together to further initiatives of importance, uphold our mission and vision, serve as a resource for issues relevant to our industry and to assure that we achieve our goals. In 2022, we’re reimaging the Central Florida P.E.P. (Protect, Educate and Promote) Talks to engage our members and provide valuable ROI.
Our Regional Committees
• Legislative & Government Affairs
FRLA leads the way in legislative engagement and the Central Florida Chapter is among the most active hospitality influencers. Our legislative committee meets monthly to discuss the latest news and determine regional priorities. Our committee meets with elected officials and collaborates with the FRLA General Counsel and Government Relations Team to solidify partnerships that are advantageous to our overall focus. Annually, we travel to the State Capitol to meet with our representatives to share our legislative priorities and rally support for our industry.

FRLA supports local culinary and hospitality programs with more than $800,000 annually. This contribution, coupled with our partnerships at more than 250 schools, provides an opportunity for future workforce to gain the training, development and tools needed to succeed and achieve.

We value our members and all of their hard work and leadership. In our monthly membership newsletter, we recognize “members of the month” to highlight the achievements and contributions made by the stars of our industry. From the small restaurant owner to the hotel General Managers, from the food & beverage team members to the front desk customer service personnel, we celebrate our workforce.
