The Allied Member Council is an elite group of hand-selected member suppliers who assist the FRLA in its quest to provide the best corporate partners for its membership. Council members bring valuable insight, incomparable hospitality acumen, and innumerable years of experience to draw upon when seeking affordable solutions. This active-participation Council meets twice annually at the Summer Board Meeting (in early June) and the Fall Board Meeting (in conjunction with the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Show). If the council member is not available to attend, he or she can send a replacement to sit on the council for that meeting.
Board meetings are closed to suppliers with the exception of those who serve on a council or are sponsors of the board meetings. Membership on this Council allows for maximum interaction with board members.
