FRLA’s Hillsborough Chapter presents an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Tampa Theatre’s most ambitious restoration project to date! As the historic theatre prepares for its centennial celebration in October 2026, members are invited to tour the building during its transformative 7-month restoration, a true once-in-a-lifetime experience. See the renovation of an existing space to be dedicated to a brand-new education wing, dressing rooms, a new elevator, updated stage rigging, and much more, all designed to restore the theatre to its original splendor. Tours last approximately one hour and include a complimentary drink, popcorn, and candy. Each guest will receive a commemorative hard hard to keep! Please note that close-toe shoes are required and all participants must sign a waiver upon entry.
There are two times to choose from when registering:
First Tour: 9:00 – 9:45 AM
Second Tour: 10:00 – 10:45 AM
