On May 10, 2024, tornadoes devastated portions of the Tallahassee community. Our friends at the American Red Cross Capital Area Chapter stepped in immediately following the storm to render aid. Within hours, they opened a reception center for community members to have a safe place to sleep, and in the days following provided more than 550 overnight stays and served over 20,000 meals. We are grateful for the more than 120 Red Cross disaster workers who have helped our community get back on its feet.
We are asking for your help.
June 10 – 14, 2024, participating restaurants can donate a percentage of their daily sales to the American Red Cross Capital Area Chapter in support of their recovery efforts and unprecedented use of resources. YOU can help by signing up your restaurant to participate in Dine for Disaster and by encouraging your family and friends to dine out at one of the participating restaurants. This event will not only support the American Red Cross but will also drive business to our local restaurants!
To sign up your restaurant or to request more information please email Sandi Poreda at [email protected]
We look forward to sharing the list of participating restaurants with you and hope that you will consider supporting this great cause!
