“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Julie Hilton, a true champion for Florida’s tourism and hospitality industry and a dedicated leader in the Bay County community. Julie’s passion for hospitality, her fierce advocacy for the destination she loved, and her commitment to developing the next generation of hospitality professionals leave an extraordinary legacy.
Julie understood that tourism is about more than beautiful beaches and great hotels – it’s about the people, experiences, and lasting impression we create for our guests and our communities. Through her generosity and unwavering dedication, she strengthened Florida’s hospitality industry and opened doors of opportunity for countless students and future industry leaders at Gulf Coast State College.
Her impact will be felt for generations, and the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association extends our deepest condolences to Julie’s family, friends, and colleagues. We are immensely grateful for her service to our industry and our great state, and we are honored to celebrate the remarkable legacy she leaves behind.”
