CAPE INFO

The CAPE Bonus Funding was outlined in Florida Statute 1011.62(17)(f).  Here is the link to the entire statute.  If you do not want to read the entire statute, attached is a word document outlining the portion of the statute that relates to the CAPE Bonus Funding.  We highlighted the part concerning the requirements and the $75 bonus funding.  The $75 amount is required in Florida Statute.

Also here is a DOE Technical Assistance Paper.  This document answers a lot of questions concerning CAPE funding.

Bright Futures Scholarships

Below is information on two Florida Bright Future Scholarships that you can assist your students in earning.  The Florida Gold Seal CAPE Scholarship and the Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholarship both award $48 per credit hour for an AS or AAS along with $39 per credit hour for certificate or applied technology diploma.  The chart is what Martin County High School shares with their students.
